Royal Salute’s first 25-year-old expression, created as a tribute to the Crown Jewels, The Treasured Blend is a rare gem, waiting to be discovered. In the Royal Salute vaults lie its crown jewels – rare and precious whiskies, watched over carefully down the years. This blend features some of the finest, aged for 25 years or more, and expertly combined to create an exceptional liquid with a glorious depth of flavour. The Treasured Blend is available exclusively at travel retail outlets. The nose offers stewed fruit and blueberry jam, with a beguiling mix of liquorice, cinnamon and marzipan. In the mouth, sweetness comes to the fore, with juicy prunes, treacle toffee and dark chocolate, rounded off with caramelised figs.

| Product History | Product HistoryCreated in 1953 as a tribute to the British monarchy, the first bottles were launched at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate this momentous occasion. As the ultimate sign of respect its name takes inspiration from the 21 Gun Salute fired at the Tower of London for royal celebrations. The Tower of London is also guardian to the treasured Royal Regalia, the collection of the British monarchy's most precious possessions, including the Crown Jewels proudly worn at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. Just as these Crown Jewels are carefully watched over the Tower of London, so too are Royal Salute's rare collection of precious casks, which are kept under lock at our Speyside Vault. It's only these 'jewels', our exceptional whiskies that are patiently matured for a quarter of a century, that are included in this powerful 25 Year Old expression to impart a depth of flavour that only time allows. |
