Product description
The Seleccion de Maestros from the rum giant Havana Club is refined in a unique process known as the so-called "Cuban Barrel Proof". First, the Maestros Roneros jointly select exquisite, matured rums from different vintages. These handpicked distillates are combined and put back into special oak barrels, which breathe additional power and depth into the rum due to their wooden structure. Only when the Maestro Roneros jointly decide that the rums are ready, do they make the final selection. And that's when the rums are then combined for the final composition. If the result is perfect, it can finally be bottled. Cuba is home to the exclusive blended Havana Club Seleccion de Maestros Rum, precisely the same name Havana. The tropical Caribbean sun island offers climatically and geographically all of the prerequisite conditions for profitable sugar cane cultivation. This is essential not only for sugar production but is of great importance for Rum production as well. In 1878 José Arechabala founded the Havana Club label. The Havana Club Rum 7 assisted the company in making the international leap to overseas markets. A round and buoyant entry leads to a complex, flavourful, full-bodied palate of cocoa, coffee, sweet tobacco, and brown spices. The finish is pleasant smoky oak and spice blended with candied fruits to give the experience a remarkable balance. Chilled is the best way to enjoy the absolute flavour. Havana Club Seleccion de Maestros is also great in a long drink with soda and lime or even a Daiquiri!
